That word is also shorthand for the "Law of Moses" (G-d's Law given at Mt. Sinai). While it can mean "law", the Hebrew word תּוֹרָה [torah] is more accurately translated as "teaching" or "instruction". It comes from a Hebrew root word that means "to hit the mark," as in archery.
These instructions from G-d are often neglected by the followers of Jesus today. This website and ministry are focused on delving deeper into G-d's Word to consider the relevance and impact of His instructions on the lives of believers and how we can be obedient to G-d as a result of His saving grace.
If you have questions about the relevance of G-d's Law in the life of believers, please see Working Out My Salvation.
