Although the Jewish people are most noted for keeping these festivals, they do not belong to the Jews ... they belong to G-d. The Hebrew word מוֹעֵד [moed] is often translated as "festival" or "feast" but actually means "appointment". So G-d, the Holy and Divine King, has decreed appointments so we can meet with Him corporately.
Believers in Messiah Yeshua observe these appointments out of love and gratitude to Him.
