Why Do You Use G-d?

Q: Why do you use G-d instead of spelling out the whole word?

A: In my walk of faith, I have chosen to follow the ancient convention of not fully writing out G-o-d in any place where it may be discarded or erased and instead treat this particular label for the Most High with an abundance of reverence and respect (Exodus 20:7, Leviticus 22:32, etc.).  I honor the choices of others and use their convention when quoting their work.
