c 1031 BCE- The incident of King David and Bathsheba begins.

c 516 BCE- G-d awakened the spirit of Zerubabel and Joshua ben Yehotzadok to begin the work of building the Second Temple. (Haggai 1)  The people began clearing the site, hewing wood and cutting stones.

1802- Anti-Jewish riots in 2 Swiss cities.

September 6, 1942- Four thousand Jews were removed from the Wolbrom Ghetto in Kracow, Poland and were taken to the central train station. Two thousand "old and sick" Jews were selected not to make the trip to the Belzec murder camp so they were taken to the local forest and shot dead.
