Third day of Creation- G-d creates the seas, the grass and the trees. This is the only day on which the Torah states twice "and G-d saw that it was good." Therefore, many refer to Tuesday as the "yom shehuchpal bo ki tov" [the day in which "it is good" is doubled].

September 1, 1614- Jews of Frankfurt-am-Main expelled; a fast day was instituted to commemorate the expulsion.

September 23, 1737- The New York State Assembly passed a law forbidding Jews to vote.

September 19, 1941- Kiev, Russia fell to Germany.

September 13, 1993- Yitzchak Rabin signed the Oslo Accords with terrorist Yassir Arafat.
