1593- Anti-Jewish riots erupted in Bucharest, Rumania costing many Jewish lives.

November 20, 1949- The Jewish population of Israel reached 1,000,000.

November 2, 1956- Israel liberated Gaza City. Gaza was the home of Yitzchok Avinu (Isaac the Patriarch) for 22 years. Later, when the Shevatim / tribes were allotted parcels of land, Gaza was given to Shevet / tribe of Yehuda.
