July 5, 1919- In Dunkov, Russia, 24 Jews were massacred and more than 150 wounded during a pogrom carried out by troops linked to Simon Petyura's Ukrainian National Army.

July 2, 1941- A Jew was shot by the Nazis in Salonika, Greece, for "insulting a representative of the German army."
