The 613 Commandments
The commandment is holy and righteous and good.
G-d delivered His commandments to Israel and the mixed multitude of non-Israelites that came out of Egypt with them during the Exodus. These commandments have provided structure and order for the lives of hundreds of millions of individuals since G-d gave them at Mt Sinai over three thousand years ago.
As G-d, Himself, declared: For it is not an idle word for you; indeed it is your life. (Deuteronomy 32:47a)

I point out connections and ideas that persist throughout the Word and highlight concepts from my own studies that have shaped my walk of faith.

The Moedim
The divine appointments of the LORD with His beloved.
Scripture says that G-d created the sun, the moon, and the stars as a pattern for marking time: days, weeks, months, and years. He has also declared some days to be special above others. These special days are called the מוּאדם [moedim].
What are these days? When are they? Where are they described in Scripture? What are they for? Who are they for?
